What you  need for class:

To be pre-enrolled, classes are limited. Tuition is paid in cash at the first class.

 

·          A plain leash that is six feet long and made of leather, cotton or nylon.

·          A well fitted secure collar the dog cannot get out of. This should be a plain flat collar with a buckle.

·          All puppies should come in plain flat buckle collars. Older dogs may have a variety of collars as you may chose or the instructor may recommend.  Choke chains, pinch or prong, halters, other, etc.

·          Long light-weight line of 15’ to 35’ with a small pivot snap on one end. Not needed at the first class.

·          Current vaccinations DHLPP and rabies (if the dog is old enough) are required

·          Treats that are soft and easy to eat and that the dog really likes.  Toys, tugs, clickers, and brushes.

·          Comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor and indoor training. Tennis shoe-types are required. No sandals or flip flops. Dress for outside weather. No dangling jewelry. Class will be on dirt surfaces.

·          Plastic bags to clean up after your dog should he have an accident. It happens. Wal-Mart bags are fine, large baggies are better. Clean up all mess’s and deposit in trash can provided at entrance.

·          A waist belt bag or good pockets to carry treats, etc.

·          A gym bag for training supplies and equipment.

·          Drinking water for your dog and yourself. A bowl for the dog.

 

Agility class: all above, targets, (plastic white lids). Agility Equipment as needed. Lots of treats and treat bag.

 

Herding: training collars including a plain buckle collar, long rope, short 2’-3’chain with snaps on both ends for tie out, regular leash and patience!
